12 Pieces for Your Summer Wardrobe

Hey Babes,

I absolutely believe that there is no such thing as too many white shirts... They are classic, go with anything, and let's just face it - they're the easiest to mess up, so its always good to have more than a couple, anyway!!  And white bottoms and shoes are post-Memorial Day MUST HAVES!!

I feel like I've been buying white in excess since early March, so I decided to rounded up my favorites for you to add to your weekend reading :)

Details:

1. A linen-blend shirt from my own boutique, Demure!  I wear the small, and it fits great!! The buttons don't gap, and it didn't shrink in the wash!!  It is a little shorter that most tops, but that makes it perfect for your high-wasted jeans!! ($38 - the above image is linked to purchase)

2. A super trendy, eyelet-detailed, ruffle-collared top (try to say that 5 times fast)!  I wear the small in this top.  It is very bold, but very fun!!  If this one is your style, and you would actually wear it, its a fantastic buy - I get so many compliments every time I wear it!! ($13 - the above image is linked to purchase)

3. The easiest mules.  Y'all, they go with everything!  They're just a clean, crisp, shoe!!  I've added them to the "Shoe Reviews" tab, if you're curious about their fit/comfort :) ($23 - the above image is linked to purchase)

4. This is a J Crew top, so you know its quality!!  Its thick - A.K.A not see-through, fits tts (I wear the small), and is just so demure!  The cut is modest, but has the little bit of fun in the sleeves with the small ruffles!!  Its not an insane ruffle like you sometimes see... So, this is the ruffle-sleeved top for those of you that want to try the trend, without it being SO over-the-top LOL ($49 - the above image is linked to purchase)

5. These wedges are my newest shoes.  They were comfortable from the start, with no blisters or break-in period.  But LOL, they make me so tall that I can't wear them when I'm with Blake...  The night I got them and was walking around the house (you know, making sure I actually wanted to keep them), he said, "OK, can you take your stilts off now?" Bahahahaaaa!!  I've also reviewed these on the "Shoe Reviews" tab, so check them out! ($80 - the above image is linked to purchase)

6. If you only buy one item from this blog post, it should be these jeans!  They are from the Loft!  They sold out once, and have been re-stocked in the curvy line!!  I LOVE their curvy fit denim - they are specifically made for the ladies (like myself) who's butt and thighs are larger, in proportion to their waist... So, they fit my thicker thighs, while still fitting my smaller waist!!  And because they are cut that way, I get to size down to a 2 (from my usual 4) in them!!!! Can I get an AMEN y'all!? They are some good pants. ($80 - the above image is linked to purchase)

7.  These are another J Crew favorite!  White scallop-hemmed shorts have been incredibly on-trend this season!!  Almost every major retailer carried their own version of these shorts... And I tried THEM ALL on!  OMG!!  I ended up with these because of the material, the fact that they weren't see-through, and the clasp!  The material has an almost linen weave pattern on them, and I loved how that looked!  I did size up one (to a 6), but they're white, so I assumed I'd have to do an much...  ($60 - the above image is linked to purchase)

8. My new earring OBSESSION...  These were handmade by a sweet girl local to me in North Augusta, SC.  Her name is Shelby, and her biz is called "The Knotty Tassel" :)  My first pair from her were a rainbow of colors and I purchased those myself, but, these white ones were gifted to me.  They are big and statement-y, but they are as light as a feather!!  I want them in every color! ($22 - the above image is linked to purchase)

9. This is the most perfect white t-shirt.  Its plain, its simple, its almost cut like a man's shirt, its not see-through, and its only $14.50 from J CREW!!!!!!  What an incredible price-point for J Crew!  I purchased it in 3 colors because its so perfectly cut (insert all the heart-eyes here).  I wear a small in every color (yes, I didn't even size up in the white)! Oh YEAH! ($14.50 - the above image is linked to purchase)

10. This is an easy, fun, white, flutter-sleeve top from the "Bulls-eye Boutique."  Its not too over-the-top with its flutter-sleeve, instead of a full-on ruffle!  I sized up to the medium in this one.  If you want it, you have to hurry!  Its on clearance and will go VERY fast!!  Get yours before your size sells out, pronto! ($12 - the above image is linked to purchase)

11. This Eyelet Peplum top is one I did not actually purchase myself, but its on my WISHLIST!!  Its so adorable & just went on sale!!  So, it may be one of this week's purchases LOL!  ($46 - the above image is linked to purchase)

12.  I know, I know... I just told you about this one in my last blog post... But can you blame a girl for being obsessed!?  It sits true to size, is not see-through, is a little low-cut, but the length is GREAT!!  Plus, its only $29 with no sales tax, or shipping!!  ($29 - the above image is linked to purchase)

I hope you see one or two you like because they are all worth it!!  Your Summer wardrobe needs a lot of white this year, trust me!! ;)

XOXO - Rachel
